The primary school (Reception) admission round opens on 11 November 2019, for parents of children to apply for a Reception school place for the academic year that starts in September 2020.
The statutory national closing date for applications is 15 January 2020.
From 11 November 2019, applications can be made online via www.essex.gov.uk/admissions .

There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admission area.In the event of oversubscription places will be allocated using the following criteria in the order given:
Looked After Children and previously looked after children (as defined in the Primary Education in Essex 2019/2020 booklet);
Children with a sibling attending the school;
Children living in the priority admission area;
Children living in the priority admission area of The Mayflower Primary School;
In the event of oversubscription within any of the above criteria, priority will be determined by straight line distance from home to school, those living closest being given the highest priority.Exceptional medical circumstances (supported by medical evidence) may override the above (other Than Looked After Children and previously looked after children).
