Mayflower Primary School Council
Welcome to our school council page. On this page you will be able to find out about our school council and what we have been doing.
The school council has 22 members. There are two members from each class in the school from Year 1 to Year 6. These children have been chosen by their classes to represent them at school council meetings throughout the year. The school council meets once a fortnight to discuss a range of ideas and to make decisions. After meetings school council members report back to their classes giving all children a chance to add their ideas and opinions. These are then fed back to the School council in the next meeting.
School council have discussed many things, including playground equipment and fund raising ideas.
Look out for your school council members around the school wearing their red badges and hats. If you have any ideas that you want them to discuss let them know!
