Our KS2 School Councillors recently represented the school at the historic Mayor Making ceremony at St Nicholas Church, where they proudly witnessed and participated in the inauguration of the new Mayor of Harwich, Sean Fay. Following the service, the children gathered outside for the tradition of kitchel throwing, with each School Councillor successfully catching one of the unique buns to take home. This memorable community event concluded with an official announcement from the town crier.
