On Wednesday 19th November 2025, The Mayflower took 10 year one and two pupils to Harwich and Dovercourt High School (HDHS) Clacton High School to participate in a number of Paralympics events. In total, approximately 50 pupils from a variety of schools in Tendring and surrounding areas got to ‘try out’ boccia, goalball, seated volleyball and table cricket.

For many of our athletes, this was their first time they had the opportunity to represent their school at sport. They were all delighted to receive their first Mayflower Sport badge in WoW assembly! A huge thank you to our local School Games Organiser (Richard Hunt) and to all the year 11 pupils who supported pupils on the day.
