On Wednesday 20th May 12 children from Mayflower took part in a Panathlon event. A Panathlon is a variety of activities where children accumulate points as a team in an overall competition. We had a team of 6 from years 3 and 4 and a team of 6 children from years 5 and 6. Both teams performed incredibly well. The team from year 3 and 4 secured 3rd place receiving a bronze medal. The team from year 5 and 6 secured 1st place receiving a gold medal and a trophy shield.
We thank Richard Hunt and Lift Tendring students for hosting such an enjoyable afternoon.
