On Thursday 23rd of April, Mayflower school took part in a ‘Rapid Fire’ cricket festival. The 9 children from years 3 & 4 led by Mr Whittingham and Mr Keeys took part in a variety of activities. Working on batting, bowling, fielding and running as preparation for a competitive event in the future. The afternoon was thoroughly enjoyable, the children relished the opportunity to improve their skills. We finished the day with games against other schools (practice matches) where they showcased their skills and new learning. We would like to thank Richard Hunt for organising the event and Harwich Community Primary for being such great hosts.
