This week, our School Councillors met with the Chair of Governors to discuss their ideas on what sort of person they would like to have as their new Headteacher. They came up with lots of brilliant ideas and loved that their opinions were being listened to.  

They would like a new headteacher who;

· Greets them at the school gate with a smile each day.

· Makes pupils feel happy to be at school.

· Likes to get involved in lessons and outdoor play.

· Treats all pupils equally, no favouritism or comparison as no two children are the same.

· Is supportive of the pupils in sporting events, ideally willing to attend to cheer the pupils on.

· Is approachable and available for the children to talk to if they have any issues.

· Shares our school virtues.

· Is fun and wants to make the school environment a bright and happy one.
