On Tuesday 18th November 2025, The Mayflower entered two teams into the Tendring Primary Schools Boccia Competition, hosted at St Clare’s Catholic Primary School. Both teams were positioned in opposing groups of 4 teams - with the top two teams then progressing to the semi-finals. Unfortunately, our yellow team was unable to progress out of their initial group, with 1 win and 2 losses. However, our red teams progressed with 2 wins and 1 loss - setting up a semi-final encounter with Alton Park. It was an extremely close match, with Alton Park managing to secure a 2:1 victory in my closing moments.

It was a wonderful morning for all of our competitors, who really enjoyed having the opportunity to participate in a sport that has only recently been added to our sports calendar. A huge thank you to St Claire’s for hosting - we look forward to returning next year.
