On Wednesday 26th November 2025, The Mayflower took 10 pupils to Clacton County High School to participate in a number of Paralympics events. In total, approximately 80 pupils from a variety of schools in Tendring and surrounding areas got to ‘try out’ boccia, goalball, seated volleyball and table cricket.

All the pupils thoroughly enjoyed participating - and have already asked me when the next event is. A huge thank you to our local SGO (Richard Hunt) and to all the year 11 pupils who supported pupils on the day.
