On Wednesday 14th January 2026, The Mayflower took a team of KS2 pupils to

The Colne Community School (Brightlingsea) to compete in a local area dodgeball event. There were a total of 14 schools from around the Colchester and Tendring area - who were split into three groups. Sadly, we were unable to progress from our initial group.

All the pupils thoroughly enjoyed participating - and relished the opportunity for some practise before next month's British Dodgeball Festival. A huge thank you to our local SGO (Richard Hunt) for hosting such a wonderful event.
