On Monday 19th January 2026, The Mayflower entered two teams of KS1 pupils into a cricket skills workshop at Sigma 6th, Tendring. Our 11 superstars of the future were instructed in the art of batting, bowling and fielding by a number of experienced coaches.

For many of our athletes, this was their first time they had ‘donned’ Mayflower kit and got to travel on the school minibus. The children were delighted to receive their Mayflower Sport badge in WoW assembly - the first of many, I am sure. A huge thank you to all the staff at Sigma 6th (Tendring) for organising such an enjoyable event.
